Sir Neville Marriner was 92, and still a busy conductor, when he died this past weekend.
In 1958, Marriner founded the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. And for more than 50 years, he served as Music Director of the ensemble.
Joshua Bell is Marriner's successor as Music Director; recently, Fred spoke with Bell about Marriner's influence and legacy.
