Martin Luther King Jr.’s life often focuses on his pivotal moments such as his "I Have a Dream" speech. Music was also an important means of delivering the message of liberation like singing “We Shall Overcome” or “Keep your Hand on the Plow” during the March on Washington. From playing piano with his family or his love for jazz and blues, music filled and inspired his most intimate moments that made him the leader he is remembered as today.
