Seth Parker Woods is a cellist who wholeheartedly embraces new compositions, fosters artistic innovation and pushes the boundaries of classical music. As a young instrumentalist, Woods spent years learning the classical standard repertoire. While in school, he started to work with young composers to bring their pieces to life. That laid the groundwork for a career of meaningful artistic collaboration and compelling concert experiences. Woods has created Grammy-nominated recordings, worked as an artist in residence for the Seattle Symphony and performed music that explores topics specific to the Black community in America.
