Chi-Chi Nwanoku is a champion of Black, Asian and ethnically diverse musicians in Europe. She founded the Chineke! Foundation and Orchestra in 2015 to give musicians of color professional experience and to promote music by composers of color. She’s had a 30-plus-year career as one of the most in-demand bass players around and is a music professor at the Royal Academy, as well as a founding member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
