Vicki Palmquist

Vicki Palmquist is a contributing writer for YourClassical MPR. Because her school district believed in transporting students to the Minnesota Orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts, she’s been engaged by classical music since second grade. Today, her tastes are broad-ranging, including classical, jazz, folk and world music, all thanks to conductor Stanisław Skrowaczewski and her choir directors. A principal in the graphic and web design firm Winding Oak, she works with clients around the world in the field of reading and publishing. She is the publisher of Bookology, an online magazine for children’s literature educators and enthusiasts.
