The Choral Arts Ensemble is one of the most ambitious ensembles in Minnesota. Under the direction of Michael Culloton, the CAE is in the third year of a succesful commisioning program.
One of the featured works from an Audience Favorites concert this past October was a newly commissioned piece by Los Angeles/Tokyo based composer Kentaro Sato.
Sato's melifluous "Misericordia Domini" was lovingly performed, one of several gorgeous works featured in the concert. Highlights from that performance with the Choral Arts Ensemble are a part of this week's Regional Spotlight at Classical MPR.
