With the start of school right around the corner, this week's Regional Spotlight is a performance from the Concordia College Orchestra and Associate music faculty member, cellist, Gregory Hamilton. One of the shortest virtuoso works for the instrument, the Saint-Saens Allegro Appasionata is a barn burner of a piece. The hoots and hollers and the end are heart-felt and a natural outcome of a wide-eyed, no-holds-barred performance. You'll want to join in with your own applause.
