It's always an exciting time of year as the new performance season starts. The sense of anticipation is palpable as group after ensemble after orchestra begin making music after the summer hiatus.
Anticipating the ensembles that will appear later this season in the Music in the Park series, in this week's Regional Spotlight we'll hear a most expressive work from earlier this year, the Schumann String Quartet in A Major Op 41 No. 3.
The Jupiter String Quartet once again performed with its typical "loving sophistication and its attention to the finest details and expression."
Regional Spotlight airs Thursday at 3 p.m. on Classical MPR stations and web stream.
