This May the Spring for Music festival returned to Carnegie Hall, showcasing some of North America's most exciting orchestras. On Wednesday, June 20, at 8 p.m., hear the Edmonton Symphony and its music director, William Eddins, make their Carnegie Hall debuts in three US premieres of Canadian works commissioned by the orchestra. Closing the program is Bohuslav Martin's rarely-heard Symphony No. 1. The orchestra is joined by soloists Angela Cheng, piano; Juliette Kang, violin; Denise Djokic, cello; and Jens Lindemann, trumpet.
