"At first I didn't like the name," Jeannette Sorrell told PT host Fred Child. She's the music director of Apollo's Fire, the baroque orchestra from Cleveland, Ohio. Initially it sounded like a rock band. "But that's okay," Sorrell said, "because I think we rock." Once you hear their performance of La Folia, you'll agree. Sorrell and members of Apollo's Fire joined Fred Child in the PT studio for conversation about musical affect and live musical performances.
Music includes:
* J.S. Bach: J.S. Bach: Concerto in D minor for Two Violins -I. Vivace
* J.S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 -II. Affettuoso
