The five singers of Calmus met at Thomaskirche in Leipzig, the church where Johann Sebastian Bach worked as a cantor. They loved to sing and loved to sing together so eventually they formed their own ensemble: Calmus. The five singers from Leipzig joined Fred Child in the studio to talk about their hometown and perform Christmas carols from Germany, plus a couple of American secular favorites.
