"Love every note." That's the advice composer Arvo Pärt received a few decades ago when he realized he had hit a compositional wall. One of the earliest works in this new style is a setting of the Credo.
"Sung" without words in an arrangement for saxophone quartet, Pärt's "Summa" is in this week's Regional Spotlight, performed by the Ancia Saxophone Quartet from a recital at the Weisman Art Gallery in May.
