Every weekday at 10 a.m., the hosts at Classical MPR play a standout work based on the theme for the week. We call these works Morning Glories.
As the Oscars approach, we'll offer five Morning Glories that remind us what a powerful contribution music makes to the movies.
The 87th Annual Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, Feb. 22. Listen to our Morning Glories all week long as we celebrate film, and don't miss Lynne Warfel's Saturday Cinema on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m., as she features music from award-winning films past and present.
