Each year the National Lutheran Choir presents a program at the Basilica of St. Mary, just off downtown Minneapolis, that many don't know what to call.
An hour-plus of song and readings, this isn't a concert, as such, because the audience sits congregation-like without applauding between numbers.
But with no liturgy, it's not really "a service" either. Some call it a festival; others, a journey of reflection. To tell you the truth, I don't know what to call it either — except gorgeous and deeply moving.
Our hour-long version, which focuses on the Choir and their guest artists, is here for you to enjoy.
