Morning Glories: Rossini

Every weekday morning at 10 a.m., the hosts at Classical MPR play a standout work based on the theme for the week. We call them Morning Glories.

Gioachino Rossini was born on February 29 — a leap year baby! Since we only get to celebrate Rossini's actual birthday once every four years, we devote this week's Morning Glories to Rossini's music.

Monday

Tuesday

L'Italiana in Algeri (The Italian Girl in Algiers): Cruda sorte! Amor tiranno!

Wednesday

Friday
