As the holiday season draws to a close, the joyful sounds continue on this week's Regional Spotlight. Three contemporary composers are featured in performances by two wonderful choirs from outside the metro area. Daniel Elder's "O Magnum Mysterium" receives a sweet performance from the Chorale Arts Ensemble (Rochester) led by Rick Kvam; and simple and jazzy, Steve Anderson's piano performance of Alfred Burt's "Ah, Bleak the Chill the Wintry Wind" sets the stage for Kim Andre Arnesen's lovely "Cradle Hymn" sung with tenderness and serenity by the Great River Chorale (St. Cloud) led by Mary Kay Geston.
Joyful sounds of the season continue on this week's Regional Spotlight.
