Pianist Awadagin Pratt is a classical music superstar. Pratt launched his professional career in 1992 after winning the prestigious Naumburg International Piano Competition. He's performed at the White House three different times, was featured on PBS's Live from the Kennedy Center and was named one of the 50 Leaders of Tomorrow in Ebony Magazine's special 50th anniversary issue. Today, Pratt is a piano professor at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music. He also serves as the artistic director of the Art of the Piano Festival. When he is not giving concert performances or teaching, Pratt appreciates fine wine and good food.
