Demarre McGill is the principal flutist of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. One of the most sought-after flutists of his generation, McGill leads an international career as a soloist, educator and chamber musician. McGill is the co-founder and Artist Director of Art of Elan, a chamber music organization dedicated to exposing new audiences to classical music. He is also a founding member of the Myriad Trio. In addition, McGill is a member of the chamber music trio, the McGill/McHale Trio with his younger brother, clarinetist Anthony McGill and pianist Michael McHale. Right now, Demarre and his brother Anthony are gearing up to record a new album for flute, clarinet and orchestra this summer.
