Lawrence Brownlee is one of the world's most in-demand singers. He has performed with virtually every top international festival and opera house including the Metropolitan Opera in New York City and Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Brownlee is a strong advocate for the organization Autism Speaks and is a lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, a historically black fraternity committed to social action and educational and professional achievement. Brownlee's most recent album, Allegro Io Son, received a Critic's Choice from Opera News in 2017.
