You can listen to Classical Minnesota Public Radio's live stream on your mobile device, as well as the Choral Stream. Here's how to download and use the Classical MPR app.
Download the MPR Radio app
Download the MPR Radio app via the Apple iTunes store or the Google Play store. The streaming app is available for iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets.
Once the MPR Radio app has completed downloading, tap the app on your device's home screen to launch it.
Streaming Classical MPR on your new app
When the app has opened, your home screen will showcase the live stream you've selected to listen to. To begin listening to Classical MPR, tap the green Classical MPR square on the left side of your screen. If you do not see a column of live stream options on the left:
The Classical MPR stream will appear on your app home screen, displaying the title and composer of the piece being streamed as well as the radio host on air. The play/pause button is at the bottom of the screen. If you don't hear the live stream, make sure that you've selected "play" and that your device's volume is turned up.
Note: The MPR app defaults to the last-listened stream the next time it's opened.
Other features
To view recently aired pieces, tap the app home screen and scroll down. Music is listed beginning with the most recent piece that has finished playing. The starting time of each piece of music is listed above its name.
To view the entire playlist, tap 'view full playlist,' displayed in green type underneath the recently aired pieces. This action exits the MPR Radio app and goes to the full playlist on ClassicalMPR.org. To return to the MPR Radio app, retap the app on your device's home screen on Apple devices or tap the back button on Android devices.

You also can listen to MPR's other streams using the app: MPR News, The Current, Purple Current, Radio Heartland, Local Current and Rock the Cradle.
