Host Steve Seel continues his celebration of Black History Month this week on Extra Eclectic. He features Black composers who mix jazz and popular music styles into their works. We'll hear from composer and pianist Billy Childs, saxophonist/composer Steven Banks, band leader Ed Bland, vocalist and flutist Nathalie Joachim and more. In the second hour of the show, it's a meditation on things dreamed and remembered with music by Max Richter, Valentin Silvestrov, Thomas Ades and Meredith Monk.
