More than 600 student-musicians at Luther College celebrate the joy and traditions of Christmas with absolutely breathtaking music, capturing the wonder, awe and excitement of the season. In addition to music for choirs, you'll hear solo organ, a handbell choir, and the some 80 instrumentalists of the Luther College Symphony Orchestra.
It all happens in a spectacular setting — and one of the nation's finest college concert halls — the Luther Center for Faith and Life. This year's theme is 'Journey to the Light,' and the concert is part of a year-long celebration of the 150th birthday of Luther College, a journey in its own right that has transformed so many. The journey tonight in this concert is one that echoes the pilgrimage of the Magi to find the Christ Child — the light of the world.
