When I began digging into the musical background of Christopher Lennertz, I uncovered a hidden gem. Unbeknownst to me, he'd written the score to one of my favorite games of all time; a 2005 Activision/Neversoft game called Gun.
More recently, we hear Christopher's music in the PlayStation exclusive by Sony called Starhawk, or in 2012's blockbuster from EA and BioWare called Mass Effect 3.
Other projects on his list of game music include games in the Medal of Honor series and James Bond: Quantum of Solace.
In Starhawk, Christopher had the opportunity to blend sounds from the old Spaghetti Westerns with the symphonic American sounds fathered by Aaron Copland. The score is a tasteful blend of Telecaster guitars, harmonica and full orchestra.
Christopher scored specific areas and storylines in the Mass Effect universe as well. His music for the female Krogan, Eve, uses the deservedly-ubiquitous voice of Lisbeth Scott.
