For the first time ever, two of the country's most acclaimed men's vocal ensembles, Cantus and Chanticleer, will perform together on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.
Although each ensemble has performed across the country as well as in its respective home city, they have never shared a stage before. In the wake of the viral success of their impromptu performance of Biebl's "Ave Maria" at a chance meeting in Newport News, Va., Cantus and Chanticleer will come together to present selections from their own repertoires, and then combine at the end of the evening for select works, including the iconic "Ave Maria."
Tickets for this concert go on sale Thursday, May 19, at 9 a.m.; ticket information is available on the Cantus website.
