Choral Featured Album: 'Jubilate: 500 Years of Cathedral Music'

Get the latest news on choral music releases with our weekly Choral Featured Album. Discover new works, new choirs, and new takes on your favorite pieces Fridays at 11 a.m. central on the Choral Stream.

For this week's Choral Featured Album, we present "Jubilate: 500 Years of Cathedral Music." Comprising 18 works by Mendelssohn, Purcell, Walton, and others, this new release from St. Paul's Cathedral Choir takes the listener through five centuries of choral masterworks. In addition to celebrating the cathedral music tradition, the album showcases a spirit of collaboration, with 50 choristers from cathedrals across the UK joining the Choir to perform pieces by Handel, Parry, and Rutter.
