Do you love to sing? Classical MPR seeks voices of all abilities for Bring the Sing, a community singing event that is part choral workshop, part recording session. Whether you're a professional vocalist, a choir member, or just like to sing in the shower, you're invited to join the fun of choral singing! You'll work with a conductor, sing with members of your community and others around the state, and hear the result posted on classicalmpr.org.

Online registration is closed, so please just join us in person for Bring the Sing's Duluth event, scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in Mitchell Auditorium at the College of St. Scholastica, 1200 Kenwood Ave., Duluth. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. There will be an extended refreshment break so you can enjoy getting to know your singing neighbors. You'll also be welcomed by conductors Bret Amundson and Sarah Ludwig.

Songs for the Duluth event are listed here. We'll provide printed copies, but don't worry if you don't read music! A core choir will lead the voice parts, and some of the music will be taught to you.

Because audio and video recording will take place during the event, you will be required to sign and turn in a media release form. Please bring the signed form with you when you arrive.

Questions? Send them to bringthesing@mpr.org.

See you there!
