The Ansan City Choir, conducted by Shin-Hwa Park, performed March 3 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.
Enjoy this video of the choir's absolutely gorgeous performance of Alejandro Consolacion II's 'Alleluia':
The Ansan City Choir is a professional choir that represents the city of Ansan, South Korea. Founded in 1995, the choir is famous for its unique chamber repertoire and various styles.
The Ansan City Choir performed alongside the St. Olaf Choir, conducted by Anton Armstrong, at the recent Minnesota concert. St. Olaf is internationally recognized as a creative force behind America's a cappella choral tradition.
The professional relationship between Park and Armstrong began in 2011 when they both served on the Artistic Committee for the 2014 World Symposium of Choral Music in Seoul, South Korea. Armstrong guest-conducted the Ansan City Choir during the symposium, and has since returned twice to guest-conduct.
