New Classical Tracks: Most coveted releases of 2017

New Classical Tracks: Semyon Bychkov (extended)

When it comes to New Classical Tracks, you essentially vote for your favorite releases when you enter the giveaway for each week's featured CD. What we end up with is New Classical Tracks' 10 most coveted releases of 2017, based on your feedback.

Coming in at No. 1 was Semyon Bychkov and the Czech Philharmonic's first release in their survey of a favorite Russian composer — The Tchaikovsky Project: Pathetique & Romeo and Juliet on the Decca label. When we first talked to Bychkov in May about this release, just the radio version was available. But to celebrate this special year-end survey, you can now listen to the extended interview, linked above, or download it on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts.
