ARC Ensemble: Chamber Works by Frederick Block (Chandos)

Simon Wynberg is the artistic director for the ARC (Artists of the Royal Conservatory) Ensemble. He’s also the musical archaeologist behind the group’s “Music in Exile” series. The ensemble’s mission is to recover forgotten or neglected works due to war, repression and antisemitism. The eighth recording in this series uncovers chamber works by Jewish Viennese composer Frederick Block. Find out more on New Classical Tracks, with host Julie Amacher.
