Pianist Jeremy Denk, violinist Joshua Bell and cellist Steven Isserlis recently released their latest project together: an album featuring piano trios by Felix Mendelssohn. Denk says you need a lot of energy to play these pieces. The source of that energy, he says, comes from the food he eats and from his longtime chamber partners who join him on this recording.
